Dr. William L.
Miller is an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston College of
Optometry. He received his O.D. from The Ohio State University and
completed a combined M.S./Residency in Cornea and Contact Lens. Dr.
Miller also earned a Ph.D. in Physiological Optics at The Ohio State
University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a
member of the American Optometric Association serving on their Journal
Review Board. He also serves as a contributing editor for Contact Lens
Spectrum and completed a chapter entitled “Refractive Correction with
Refractive Surgeries and Prosthetic Devices” for the next edition of
Borish’s Clinical Refraction. He is involved in the both the didactic
and clinical education at the University of
Houston supervising students in direct patient care at the University Eye
Institute. Additionally, Dr. Miller conducts research with a special
emphasis on tear abnormalities and the effects of contact lenses and
refractive surgery on the cornea.
